2024 August-擁抱AI時代：關西國小AI程式營活動點燃中小學生的學習熱情！August 2024 - Embracing the AI Era: Guanxi Elementary School's AI Programming Camp Ignites the Learning Passion of Elementary and Middle School Students!

2024年，關西國小迎來了一個充滿愛與希望的科技盛事！由新竹愛心小隊主辦的AI程式營活動，In 2024, Guanxi  Elementary School hosted a technology event full of love and hope! The AI programming camp融合了慈濟大愛志工的無私奉獻，共同為12名清寒學生送上了一份特別的禮物——捐贈的二手桌上型電腦。這不僅是一場關於AI的學習盛宴，更是一場關懷與支持的溫暖行動。

organized by the Hsinchu Love Action and supported by the selfless dedication of Tzu Chi volunteers, provided a special gift to 12 underprivileged students— donated second-hand desktop computers. This event was not only a feast for learning about AI but also a warm gesture of care and support.

在活動之前，慈濟志工們早早地到這些學生的家中，為每位學生安裝了桌上型電腦，並承諾提供後續的維修服務。這些電腦將成為學生們探索科技世界的重要工具，也為他們的學習旅程提供了強有力的支持。

Before the event, Tzu Chi volunteers visited the students' homes early to install the desktop computers for each student and promised to provide ongoing maintenance services. These computers will serve as crucial tools for the students to explore the world of technology and provide strong support for their learning journey.

今天的AI程式營活動中，小朋友們不僅學習了AI的基本知識，還親手設計了自己的AI程式遊戲，激發了他們對科技的濃厚興趣。透過這樣的實踐經驗，他們對未來的科技世界充滿了無限的好奇與期待。

In today’s AI programming camp, the children not only learned the basics of AI but also designed their own AI game programs, sparking their deep interest in technology. Through this hands-on experience, they are filled with endless curiosity and anticipation for the future of the tech world.

新竹縣立法委員徐欣瑩今天早上也到場替報名參加的中小學生們加油，同時感謝主辦這個營隊活動的愛心小隊的高中生們貢獻所長又回饋社會，特別是在偏鄉埋下AI發展的種苗，讓新竹縣的AI教育認知落差可以因此逐步縮短。

Additionally, we would like to thank Hsinchu County Legislator Hsu Hsin-ying for attending this morning to support the participating elementary and middle school students. We also appreciate the high school students from the Love Team who organized the camp for their contributions and community service. Their efforts, especially in planting the seeds for AI development in rural areas, are helping to gradually close the gap in AI education awareness in Hsinchu County.

新竹縣立委徐欣瑩她很高興因為自己的牽線，負責聯繫關西國小, 石光國小與周邊小學合作，共同選拔12位清寒又上進的學生，並成功協調由關西國小提供電腦教室及中午用餐場地。讓今天這個AI程式營得以舉辦，看到熱心的志工團隊用熱情激發關西中小學生們的興趣與自信，她覺得很開心。 Hsinchu County Legislator Hsu Hsin-ying is very pleased with her role in connecting Guanxi  Elementary School, Shi Guang  Elementary School, and other local schools to collaborate in selecting 12 underprivileged and motivated students. She successfully coordinated with Guanxi Elementary School to provide the computer lab and lunch facilities. Seeing the enthusiastic volunteer team inspire the interest and confidence of students with their passion has brought her great joy.

這次的AI營不只讓學員們很開心的學習，愛心小隊的助教也多了一份寶貴經驗,也把所學的學術學以致用，每一位助教們都想為社會貢獻力量，也很感謝關西國小能夠提供電腦教室供我們使用，最後學員們也把所學的發揮出來做出成果來，最後Michael老師也為此頒發各獎項以玆鼓勵，最後也給予學員們回饋。

 This AI camp not only make students to enjoy learning but also provided the teaching assistants from the “Hsinchu Love Action” with valuable experience. They applied their academic knowledge practically and were eager to contribute to society. We are also grateful to Guanxi  Elementary School for providing the computer lab for our use. In the end, the students showcased their learnings and achieved great results. Michael, the instructor, awarded various prizes to encourage the students and provided feedback on their performance.
