這個暑假，峨眉國小迎來了為期四天的電腦英語營，從早到晚充滿了學習與笑聲。每天上午 8:40 到 12:00，是針對二到五年級學生的電腦課程；下午 13:10 到 15:30，則是加入一年級同學的英語課程。

This summer, Emei Elementary School hosted a four-day Computer & English Camp, filled with learning and laughter from morning to afternoon. Every morning from 8:40 to 12:00, students from grades 2 to 5 joined the computer classes; in the afternoon from 13:10 to 15:30, the first graders joined for fun-filled English lessons.

峨眉國小簡介

峨眉國小位於新竹縣峨眉鄉，校園環境清幽，依山傍水，學生人數雖不多，但師生關係緊密，學校一直致力於推動多元化課程與資源引進，讓孩子們在偏鄉也能接觸到最新的科技與教育資源。本次營隊正是這份教育理念的延伸與實踐。

About Emei Elementary School

Located in Emei Township, Hsinchu County, Emei Elementary School is surrounded by serene natural scenery. Though the student body is small, the school maintains close teacher–student relationships and is dedicated to offering diverse courses and bringing in external resources. This camp was a continuation and realization of the school’s mission to ensure that even in rural areas, students can access the latest technology and learning opportunities.

上午 8:40–12:00 電腦營

上午的課程以 2–5 年級學生為主要對象，由黎老師教學，TA們 Isabelle Chu、Lucas Chen、Emma Cheng、Christine Tsao 協助教學。第一天，學生們透過 ChatGPT 學習資訊查詢、創意發想與 AI 圖片生成；接下來三天則進入 Google Colab 的基礎程式設計，從 print 指令到 True/False 布林值、if 判斷式，循序漸進地完成多個小專案。孩子們在嘗試與修正中，逐步建立了對科技的自信與興趣。 Morning (8:40–12:00) – Computer Camp

The morning sessions, designed for students in grades 2–5. The course will be taught by Teacher Li, and assisted by Isabelle Chu, Lucas Chen, Emma Cheng, and Christine Tsao.On the first day, students explored ChatGPT for information searches, creative writing, and AI image generation. Over the next three days, they learned basic programming in Google Colab — from the print command to Boolean values (True/False) and if-statements — gradually completing small projects. Step by step, they gained confidence and curiosity in technology.

下午 13:10–15:30 英語營

下午的課程對象加入了一年級學生，氣氛更加熱鬧。英語營由 TA Isabelle Chu、Lucas Chen、Emma Cheng、Christine Tsao、Angie Lo、Depheny Wang、Annie Tsai 協助進行。課程內容包括生活會話、分組遊戲、故事閱讀與角色扮演，讓孩子們在互動中自然運用英語。低年級學生充滿活力，高年級學生則在活動中展現了帶動與協助同學的能力，教室裡笑聲不斷。

Afternoon (13:10–15:30) – English Camp

In the afternoons, first graders joined in, making the atmosphere even livelier. English camp activities were supported by TAs Isabelle Chu, Lucas Chen, Emma Cheng, Christine Tsao, Angie Lo, Depheny Wang, and Annie Tsai. Lessons included daily conversations, group games, story reading, and role-playing, encouraging students to use English naturally. Younger students brought boundless energy, while older students showed leadership by helping their peers.

學習成果與觀察

四天下來，上午的電腦課程讓學生接觸了 AI 與程式設計的基礎，開啟了探索科技的新視野；下午的英語課則提升了口語表達的自信與興趣，孩子們不僅在課堂上踴躍發言，課後也會用簡單的英語打招呼與互動。這樣跨領域的安排，讓學生在短時間內同時體驗不同的學習方式。 Achievements & Observations

After four days, the computer sessions had given students a foundation in AI and programming, sparking their interest in technology. The English sessions boosted their confidence in speaking and using the language — with many continuing to greet and chat in English after class.
