2024 July Summer 夏日語言營 × 新竹市新住民家庭服務中心 — 開啟新住民語言與文化新篇章 Camp × Service Center for New Immigrant Families, Hsinchu City — Opening a New Chapter in Language and Culture Together

本次活動特別感謝政府單位新竹市新住民家庭服務中心的合作與支持，攜手推動新住民語言教育與文化交流，讓更多孩子擁有接觸英語與多元文化的機會。

This event was made possible through the collaboration and support of the government agency – the Service Center for New Immigrant Families, Hsinchu City. Together, we promoted language education and cultural exchange for new immigrant communities, providing more children with opportunities to experience English and multiculturalism.

今年2024年的炎熱夏天，新竹愛心小隊的高中生為新住民家庭的孩子們帶來了一場難忘又精彩的英文遊戲體驗！

In the scorching summer of 2024, high school students from Hsinchu Love Action brought an unforgettable and fantastic English gaming experience to the children of new immigrant families.

透過活潑有趣的遊戲，他們不僅讓孩子們享受遊戲樂趣，還潛移默化地學習英文。

Through lively and engaging games, they not only allowed the children to enjoy the fun of playing games but also subtly immersed them in learning English.

活動共進行五天，第一天破冰活動，孩子們一開始很害羞，但是由於我們的用心與認情引導他們，從一開始的羞澀到後面有漸漸地進入狀況，愛心小隊也精心設計了富有創意遊戲，讓孩子們在遊戲中學習語言，同時發揮他們的想像力和探索精神，例如: 認識國家與國旗。

The event lasted for five days. On the first day, we held an ice-breaker activity. The children were initially shy, but through our heartfelt and empathetic guidance, they gradually warmed up from their initial shyness. The Love Action also meticulously designed creative games, allowing the children to learn language while unleashing their imagination and spirit of exploration. For example, they learned about countries and flags.

愛心小隊的成員們不僅是專業的導師，更是孩子們的良師益友，他們通過鼓勵和支持，激發了每個孩子的潛力和自信心。在這個充滿熱情和活力的環境中，孩子們不僅學習了英文，還學會了團隊合作、解難思考和跨文化交流的重要性。

The members of the Love Action are not only professional mentors but also good friends to the children. Through encouragement and support, they have sparked the potential and confidence of each child. In this passionate and vibrant environment, the children have not only learned English but also grasped the importance of teamwork, problem-solving, and cross-cultural communication.

除了語言技能的提升，英語營還通過文化交流和藝術活動，豐富了孩子們的視野，讓他們更加了解世界各地的文化和價值觀。

In addition to enhancing language skills, the English camp enriched the children's perspectives through cultural exchange and artistic activities, allowing them to gain a deeper understanding of cultures and values from around the world.

最後成果表演還透過有趣活潑的英文以及畫圖來描述台灣富有的特色，大家分工合作完成的精神也都讓我們現場評分組深受感動，透過團隊精神表現以及努力不懈的精神，表現出來的成果在海報中都可以呈現出來。

The final performance showcased Taiwan's unique characteristics through lively and engaging English presentations and artwork. The collaborative spirit and dedication of everyone involved deeply moved our judging panel. The results of their teamwork and unwavering effort were beautifully reflected in the posters.

這場英語營不僅讓孩子們度過了充實且有趣的暑假，也為他們的成長和未來奠定了堅實的基礎。新竹愛心小隊的高中生們以其熱情和創意，為孩子們打開了通向語言學習和全球理解之門，成就了一場充滿教育意義的夏日活動。

This English camp not only provided children with a fulfilling and enjoyable summer but also laid a solid foundation for their growth and future. The high school students from Hsinchu Love Squad, with their passion and creativity, opened doors to language learning and global understanding for the children. They achieved an educational summer event filled with meaning.

活動進入尾聲，新竹愛心小隊們還有給予每一位小孩們的鼓勵話，勉勵他們。

As the event drew to a close, the Hsinchu Love Action had encouraging words for each child, inspiring them to keep going.
