在現代社會，電腦是學習與資訊取得的基礎工具，但對許多弱勢家庭與偏鄉地區的孩子而言，一台電腦仍是遙不可及的奢侈品。慈濟再生電腦中心致力於回收與維修二手電腦，讓資源重新被使用，將科技化為溫暖的力量。

The Tzu Chi Recycled Computer Center refurbishes and redistributes used computers to children and families in need, transforming unused resources into meaningful educational opportunities.

Melody Fan’s Role & Contributions

作為新竹愛心小隊的核心志工之一，Melody Fan 長期參與慈濟再生電腦中心的電腦整理與清潔、硬體維修與測試工作，協助許多電腦重新啟動生命。她不僅投入現場服務，也協助捐贈與配送流程，讓電腦順利送到最需要的地方。

As a committed member of Hsinchu Love Action, Melody Fan has served as a long-term volunteer at the Tzu Chi Recycled Computer Center—helping clean, repair, and test equipment, and ensuring that refurbished computers reach the right destinations.

截至目前，共完成 36 台再生電腦的捐贈與協助配送，將珍貴資源送往多個教育與公益機構，實際改善學生的學習環境。

To date, Melody has helped facilitate the donation and delivery of 36 refurbished computers, supporting educational and community facilities and improving students’ access to technology.

在過去兩年中，在 Melody 的申請、聯繫與全程參與下，成功捐出 36 台再生電腦（含桌機與筆電），送往以下單位：

人安基金會吉安站 — 為街友提供學習與重建機會
關西國小四校 AI 電腦營 — 讓偏鄉學生學習程式與 AI

Yu-An Children’s Home – improving access to technology for students with disabilities
Zenan Homeless Foundation Ji’an Station – empowering individuals to rebuild their lives
Guansi regional elementary schools AI Camp – enabling rural students to learn programming and AI

首先，她與 幼安教養院 Yu-An Children’s Center 聯繫，主動提出捐贈申請，並安排運送及現場安裝，讓孩子與院方能擁有穩定的學習與行政設備。

First, Melody initiated the donation process for Yu-An Children’s Center, coordinating logistics and installation so students and staff could have reliable devices for learning and administrative work.

接著，她與 花蓮吉安平安站 Ji-An Station 進行需求評估，媒合最合適的設備並協助整理與配置，讓弱勢家庭與長者在社區照護服務中擁有更完善的科技支援。

Next, Melody worked closely with Zenan Homeless Foundation Ji’an Station in Hualien, assessing needs and matching appropriate computers to support elderly care and disadvantaged families within the community.

最後，她協助 關西國小 Guansi Elementary School 的 AI 程式營整合電腦資源，負責設備的配置與現場技術支援，使偏鄉學生能透過 AI 與程式教育拓展視野、增強學習能力。

Finally, she supported the AI Coding Camp at Guansi Elementary School, allocating computers and providing on-site assistance, enabling students to participate in meaningful AI and programming learning opportunities.

這些電腦如今陪著孩子學習、陪伴長者聯繫社區，成為翻轉生活的重要工具。Today, these computers enable students to learn, help seniors stay connected, and provide access to digital opportunity.

她相信，真正的影響力來自不斷行動、長期投入、用能力解決問題。She believes true impact comes from consistent action, long-term commitment, and problem-solving.
