1. Receiving the FuFu Piggy Bank: A Small Beginning with Big Meaning
領取 FuFu 豬存錢筒：小小行動的開始
Amelia Chen 的故事，從 FuFu 豬存錢筒 開始。這是由 南迴基金會 推動的公益募資計畫，鼓勵學生透過日常儲蓄，支持偏鄉醫療與照護服務。
Amelia Chen’s story began with the FuFu Piggy Bank, part of a fundraising initiative launched by the South-Link Medical Foundation to support rural medical care and community health in southeastern Taiwan.
在新竹愛心小隊活動中，Amelia 領取了 10 個 FuFu 豬存錢筒，她不僅自己投入行動，更積極 號召親朋好友一起參與，運用自己的影響力擴大善意的力量。她與家人、同學、鄰居共同投入零用錢與生活中的小額收入，一點一滴累積愛心。
Through Hsinchu Love Action, Amelia received 10 FuFu piggy banks, choosing not only to join the campaign herself but also to encourage friends and family to participate. Using her influence, she invited others to contribute by saving spare coins and pocket money, proving that kindness grows when shared.
數月後，當 FuFu 豬們「變胖」時，她與夥伴們 將募得的款項全數捐出，交由南迴基金會，投入偏鄉醫療與長者照護。那一刻，她深刻體會到：
「善意不需要很大，一枚硬幣就能開始。」
Months later, when the piggy banks were full, Amelia and her supporters donated all the collected funds to the South-Link Medical Foundation, helping support essential medical services in underserved communities in the Taitung Nanhui region.
“Kindness doesn’t have to be big — it just needs to start,” she reflected.
二、踏上南迴：從捐款者到實踐者
2. Stepping into Nanhui: From Donor to Volunteer
今年暑假，Amelia 參與了 新竹愛心小隊與南迴基金會合作舉辦的「南迴醫療照護實習」，親自走進台東南迴地區，投入實際的醫療服務與社區陪伴。
This summer, Amelia took her involvement one step further by joining the Hsinchu Love Action x South-Link Medical Foundation Medical Care Internship, a field-based volunteer program in southern Taitung.
她與其他志工在 大武、森永、金崙等部落的文健站（社區健康照護據點） 協助基金會的照護團隊，參與的服務內容包含：
為長者量血壓與健康紀錄
協助備餐、分送物資與照護用品
陪伴長輩聊天與活動帶領
支援醫護團隊進行居家探訪與送藥任務
Together with fellow student volunteers, she served in Dawu, Senyung, and Jinlun villages, assisting the foundation’s community health stations and mobile medical teams. Her daily tasks included:
Taking blood pressure and recording health data for elderly residents
Assisting with meal preparation and distributing supplies
Supporting caregivers in delivering medicine and visiting homebound elders
Engaging with seniors through conversation and group activities
在酷熱的南迴夏天裡，她跟著醫護人員穿梭山海之間，看見偏鄉居民為就醫而長途跋涉的辛苦，也感受到醫療團隊不畏距離、長期守護的力量。
Under the sweltering summer sun, Amelia followed healthcare workers along winding mountain and coastal routes, witnessing firsthand how difficult access to medical care could be in rural communities. Yet, amid those challenges, she saw incredible warmth, resilience, and dignity.
「照顧不只是技術，更是一份同理。當我握著長輩的手時，才真正明白『關懷』的重量。」“Caregiving isn’t just a skill,” she shared. “It’s empathy in action. When I held an elder’s hand, I realized that care means being fully present.”
三、從募資到關懷：善意的循環
3. From Saving to Serving: A Circle of Compassion
Amelia 的行動，串起了一條完整的公益循環。她從領取 FuFu 豬存錢筒開始——👉 以生活中的零錢參與募資；👉 進而親自走入偏鄉服務；👉 最後將經驗化為更深的社會關懷與反思。
Amelia’s journey represents a complete circle of giving —👉 starting with the FuFu Piggy Bank fundraising effort,👉 continuing with her hands-on participation in the Nanhui internship, and👉 deepening into ongoing empathy and awareness for social issues.
這樣的過程，也體現了新竹愛心小隊與南迴基金會的合作精神：不只是捐錢，更要行動；不只是幫助，更要理解。
Her experience also echoes the shared mission of Hsinchu Love Action and the South-Link Medical Foundation:To go beyond donations, and truly understand through action.
Amelia 表示，她希望未來能持續參與偏鄉醫療與公益活動，也希望能帶動更多同齡學生，一起用行動回應社會需要。
Amelia hopes to keep contributing to rural health and social welfare causes in the future — and to inspire more young people to take small, consistent steps toward meaningful impact.

1. A First Encounter with Homelessness
Amelia’s service journey began with the Homeless Meal Support Event, where she helped distribute food to people experiencing homelessness. It was her first close encounter with this social issue, allowing her to see beyond statistics and truly connect with those in need.
Amelia 在參與「寒士30」時，首次面對無家可歸的街友群體。那天，她親手遞出熱食，也聽見了許多被城市忽略的聲音，開始意識到這個議題的真實與迫切。
2. From Shock to Action
During one street outreach, Amelia was shocked to learn that many homeless individuals slept on thin A4 cardboard sheets, sold at just NT$10 each. Moved by compassion, she decided to take concrete action — personally purchasing 25 moisture-proof mats to provide a more dignified and comfortable sleeping condition.
某次街頭探訪，她驚訝地發現，許多街友夜晚僅能睡在薄薄的 A4 紙板上，一張僅十元新台幣。這讓她深受觸動，決定採取行動，自費購買 25 張防潮墊，讓更多人能有稍微溫暖的夜晚。
3. Mobilizing Support and Partnership
Inspired by the impact of her first act, Amelia rallied her peers to join her. Together, they assembled waterproof bags filled with food, hygiene items, and daily essentials. In partnership with the Zenan Homeless Social Welfare Foundation, they successfully delivered 160 care packages to people in need, turning empathy into organized action.
受到行動成果的鼓舞，Amelia 進一步號召同學一起加入。他們親手準備了防水袋，裝入食物、衛生用品與日常必需品，並與「人安基金會」合作，順利送出 160 份關懷包，讓善意轉化為具體的幫助。
4. Building Ji’an Service Station in Hualien
Amelia’s commitment didn’t stop there. She contributed to the establishment of the Ji’an Service Station in Hualien — a safe space for homeless individuals — by sponsoring the installation of partitions, lockers, and helping with layout design, making the environment more organized and human-centered.
這份關懷沒有終止於一次活動。Amelia 更進一步參與了「花蓮吉安平安站」的設立計畫，資助隔間與置物櫃設施，並協助規劃空間配置，讓庇護所更具功能性與尊嚴感。
5. Immersive Internship and Reflection
Later, Amelia interned at the Ji’an Station of the Homeless Taiwan Foundation, experiencing frontline social work firsthand. Over three intensive days, she assisted with meal preparation and distribution, sorted donated goods, and joined outreach visits to engage with individuals on the street. Beyond logistical tasks, she listened deeply — hearing life stories filled with resilience, pain, and dignity.
之後，Amelia 也於「人安基金會吉安平安站」進行三天實習，親身投入第一線社工工作。她協助備餐、分發物資、整理捐贈品，並隨社工外出探訪街友。更重要的是，她學會傾聽這些被忽視的生命故事，感受他們在艱困中仍保有的尊嚴與堅毅。
6. A Deeper Commitment
Through these experiences, Amelia developed a profound understanding of systemic inequality and human resilience. She learned that community service is not just about giving, but about continuous compassion, awareness, and action. This journey became the foundation of her lifelong commitment to social impact and empathy-driven leadership.
這些歷程讓 Amelia 深刻體會到，公益不只是給予，更是持續的理解、關懷與行動。她在與街友相遇的過程中，看見社會的結構性問題，也看見人性中的韌性與希望。這段旅程，成為她未來持續投入社會關懷與領導力實踐的起點。

為了應對土耳其與敘利亞面臨的巨大挑戰，我們啟動了「援助之光：土耳其與敘利亞物資賑災捐物計畫」，邀請您一同參與這一關鍵時刻的救援行動，用實際行動點燃希望的火炬！
To address the immense challenges faced by Turkey and Syria, we have launched the "Aid of Light: Turkey and Syria Disaster Relief Donation Drive." We invite you to join us in this critical rescue effort and take concrete action to ignite the torch of hope!
什麼是「援助之光」？What is "Aid of Light"?
「援助之光」是一個專為支持土耳其與敘利亞災後重建而設立的捐物計畫。我們的目標是籌集急需的物資，包括食品、藥品、衣物、衛生用品和其他必需品，並通過可靠的渠道將這些物資送到最需要的地方。這是一個跨越國界的合作計畫，旨在團結各界力量，共同應對災後的挑戰。
"Aid of Light" is a donation drive specifically established to support the post-disaster reconstruction efforts in Turkey and Syria. Our goal is to collect urgently needed supplies, including food, medicine, clothing, hygiene products, and other essentials, and deliver them to the areas most in need through reliable channels. This is a cross-border collaborative initiative aimed at uniting efforts from all sectors to tackle the challenges following the disaster.
如何參與 How to Participate
考量到災區氣候條件的惡劣，捐贈的物資首要條件是能夠「以符過冬」。因此，我們強烈建議捐贈者提供全新或未使用過的物品，以確保衛生安全。在打包物資時，請務必將所有物品裝入箱中，並附上一張「捐贈物清單」，上面標明數量及重量，以便工作人員能夠迅速分類，並有效率地將物資送往災區。打包完成後，並在外包裝的空白處註明「土耳其賑災物資」字樣，方便識別。
Considering the harsh climate conditions in the disaster areas, the primary requirement for donated supplies is that they help to "survive the winter." We strongly encourage donors to provide new or unused items to ensure hygiene. When packing supplies, please make sure to place all items in boxes and include a "donation list" indicating the quantity and weight, which will help staff quickly categorize and efficiently deliver the supplies to the disaster area. After packing, please clearly mark the outside of the box with "Turkish Relief Supplies" for easy identification.
1.捐贈物資：
食品：乾糧、罐頭、即食食品等，這些基本食品將能夠立即滿足災區人們的生存需求。
醫療物資：藥品、急救包、衛生用品等，這些物資對於提供基本醫療救助至關重要。
衣物：新衣物、保暖衣物、鞋帽等，這些衣物能夠幫助受災者抵擋寒冷，保護他們的健康。
其他必需品：毛巾、床單、清潔用品等，這些日常必需品能夠改善受災者的生活條件。
2.金錢捐款：
我們接受現金捐款，以便迅速購買缺少的物資並運送至災區。您的每一分捐款都將直接用於支持受災者，確保他們能夠獲得急需的幫助。
3. 志願服務：
如果您有時間和精力，歡迎加入我們的志願者隊伍。您的參與將幫助我們整理、打包和分發物資。無論是一天的時間還是數小時的貢獻，都能夠對災區人們產生積極影響。
Donate Supplies:
Food: Non-perishable items, canned goods, ready-to-eat meals, etc. These basic food supplies will immediately meet the survival needs of people in the disaster areas.
Medical Supplies: Medications, first aid kits, hygiene products, etc. These items are crucial for providing essential medical assistance.
Clothing: New clothes, warm clothing, shoes, hats, etc. These garments will help disaster survivors withstand the cold and protect their health.
Other Essentials: Towels, bed linens, cleaning supplies, etc. These everyday necessities will improve the living conditions of the affected individuals.
Monetary Donations:
We accept cash donations to quickly purchase the necessary supplies and transport them to the disaster areas. Every dollar you contribute will directly support the survivors, ensuring they receive the urgent help they need.
Volunteer Services:
If you have time and energy, we welcome you to join our team of volunteers. Your participation will assist us in sorting, packing, and distributing supplies. Whether you can contribute a day or just a few hours, your efforts will make a positive impact on the lives of those affected by the disaster.

Amelia from the Hsinchu Love Action, with her enthusiasm and compassion, actively participated in the Turkey and Syria disaster relief donation drive. Her dedication and heartfelt commitment demonstrate a deep concern for charity and have provided much-needed support and hope to the affected areas. As the Founder of this initiative, she started this project believing in its significance. Although she is currently the sole person involved, she is confident that more people will join in this meaningful cause in the future.
