自1989年啟動以來，台灣世界展望會的「飢餓三十」已成為全球人道救援的重要行動。

Since its initiation in 1989, World Vision Taiwan's "30-Hour Famine" has evolved into a crucial global humanitarian relief effort.

每年，台灣民眾響應號召，投入愛心，積極救援全球各地受災區域。救援工作廣泛，包括提供緊急糧食補給、醫療援助，以及災後重建等多方面的支援。近年來，活動更加強調協助脆弱地區因極端氣候、區域衝突等挑戰所面臨的需求。

Each year, people in Taiwan respond to the call, pouring their hearts into actively assisting disaster-stricken areas worldwide. The relief efforts encompass a wide range of activities, including providing emergency food supplies, medical aid, and post-disaster reconstruction. In recent years, the emphasis has grown on assisting vulnerable regions facing challenges such as extreme weather conditions and regional conflicts.

「飢餓三十」不僅僅關懷飢餓人口，同時針對全球危機地區，包括天災、戰亂、人民流離失所等，提供迫切的支援。全球有上百萬人參與，各國以不同方式參加，例如紐澳及南非參與40小時，英國為24小時，而台灣等國家為30小時。

在新竹，愛心小隊─hsinchu love action 的同學以及Karen老師積極號召朋友和家人參與團隊飢餓體驗，深刻感受脆弱兒童的處境，並在社交媒體上記錄下他們的心得體會。

The "30-Hour Famine" not only focuses on addressing hunger but also extends its support to global crisis areas, including natural disasters, conflicts, and displaced populations. With participation from over a million individuals globally, various countries contribute in different ways – for example, participants in New Zealand and South Africa endure 40 hours, the United Kingdom goes for 24 hours, while Taiwan and other countries observe the famine for 30 hours. In Hsinchu, the caring team, "Hsinchu Action for Love and Care," led by students and Karen, actively encourages friends and family to join in the team's hunger experience, providing a profound understanding of the challenges faced by vulnerable children and documenting their experiences.
