This summer, we invited the Heart of Taiwan Animal Care Association to provide us with accurate knowledge about animal protection.
Established in 2012, the Heart of Taiwan is dedicated to the core values of "education, sterilization, and advocacy," striving to create a gentle yet substantial change and gradually find the most suitable way of life for Taiwan's stray animals.

For this event, we took the initiative to invite lecturers to teach and worked on the planning, coordinating with the speakers. One of the challenges during the event was the cost of the lecturer. Through a fundraising process, we not only raised enough funds for the lecturer's fee but also collected a total of 7,000 New Taiwan Dollars to contribute to the welfare of stray cats and dogs.

Of course, for this meaningful event that carries the significance of life, we wanted to invite more people to participate. Therefore, we promoted the seminar, which initially was intended for only the three of us, and eventually expanded to accommodate 25 participants.
A special thanks to Monica, the lecturer from the Heart of Taiwan, after attending this animal seminar, we deeply realized the close yet delicate connection between humans and animals. This lecture not only reminded us of the importance of animal protection but also urged everyone to actively engage in animal welfare. The cases and stories shared by the speaker provided me with a deeper understanding of animal rights issues. We feel a responsibility to treat the animals around us well and hope to contribute to improving their living environment through our own efforts.
