2024 Spring - 慶祝地球日！新竹大魯閣活動/ Spring 2024 - Celebrate Earth Day! Activity at Hsinchu Taroko Square

每年的4月22日是世界地球日，April 22nd is Earth Day 而今年，我們選擇在4月20日於新竹大魯閣提前舉辦一場盛大的慶祝活動，旨在提高公眾環保意識，推廣減塑環保的理念。But this year we chose to hold a grand celebration in advance on April 20th at Hsinchu Taroko Park. 這次活動充滿了互動性和趣味性，吸引了大量民眾參與。 The event aimed to raise public awareness about environmental protection and promote the concept of reducing plastic usage. The activity was full of interactivity and fun, attracting a large number of participants.

為了確保活動的順利進行，我們多次召開會議討論活動內容和人員安排。當天的現場井然有序，人潮絡繹不絕。學生們肩負重任，擔任活動宣傳者，活動宣導稿也由同學們親自撰寫，簡單明瞭，利用麥克風向現場民眾宣傳活動內容。

To ensure the smooth running of the event, we held several meetings to discuss the event's content and personnel arrangements. On the day of the event, everything was orderly, with a continuous stream of people. Students took on important roles as event promoters, and they personally wrote the event's promotional scripts, which were simple and clear. They used microphones to inform the crowd about the event's details.

手持多肉植物的學生們向民眾詳細說明活動內容。只要拍照的民眾將獲贈一吋多肉植物一株；而願意接受並完成採訪的民眾，則會得到四格多肉木盒一個。這樣的互動設計不僅讓民眾感受到活動的熱情，更讓環保理念深入人心。

Students holding succulent plants explained the event to the public in detail. Anyone who took a photo would receive a small succulent plant; those willing to be interviewed and complete the interview would receive a four-compartment succulent wooden box. This interactive design not only conveyed the enthusiasm of the event but also deeply instilled the concept of environmental protection in people's minds.

同學們分工負責活動的宣傳和設計工作，從廣告到現場佈置無一不精心策劃。他們設計並製作了新竹愛心小隊的背心和名牌、活動背景大站牌、手持小牌、桌上立牌及登記表等。同學們製作了很多手持小牌，內容都是生活中便於做的環保小舉動，讓每位參與者都能夠輕鬆地加入到環保行列中來。

Students were responsible for the promotion and design work of the event, from advertisements to on-site arrangements, all meticulously planned. They designed and produced vests and name tags for the Hsinchu Love Squad, large event backdrop banners, handheld signs, tabletop signs, and registration forms. The students created many handheld signs featuring easy-to-implement environmental actions, making it simple for every participant to join the ranks of environmental protection.

活動當天，學生們一早就到達現場進行佈置，準備音響和音樂、安置招牌、佈置桌面和規劃排隊方向，並設置錄影和拍照設備。活動開始後，學生們按照分組有序邀請民眾選擇自己可以做到的環保小舉動手持牌進行拍照，幫助民眾拍攝並陪伴他們在大站牌前舉著小牌和多肉植物合影。

On the day of the event, students arrived early to set up the venue, prepare the sound system and music, arrange signs, set up tables, plan the queue directions, and install recording and photography equipment. Once the event started, the students invited the public in an orderly manner to choose an environmental action they could commit to, hold up the sign, and take a photo. They helped the public take photos and accompanied them to pose with the signs and succulent plants in front of the large backdrop.

多肉植物組的成員們負責多肉植物的分發和管理，確保每位排隊的民眾都能領取到多肉植物。現場準備了200株單一多肉植物和50個四格多肉木盒，讓大家在活動結束後也能持續感受綠意和環保的氛圍。

The members of the succulent plant group were responsible for distributing and managing the succulents, ensuring that everyone in line received a plant. A total of 200 single succulent plants and 50 four-compartment succulent wooden boxes were prepared on-site, allowing everyone to continue feeling the green and environmentally friendly atmosphere even after the event ended.

街頭採訪組分成5組，每組2人，負責邀請民眾接受採訪並錄製影片，一起討論環保保護地球家園的重要性。每組最多可發放10份四格多肉木盒，通過這樣的互動，更多人開始思考如何在日常生活中實踐環保。

The street interview team was divided into five groups, each consisting of two people. They invited the public to be interviewed and recorded videos discussing the importance of environmental protection and protecting our planet. Each group could distribute up to 10 four-compartment succulent wooden boxes. Through this interaction, more people began to consider how to practice environmental protection in their daily lives.

活動結束後，所有成員自願留下來幫助商場員工收拾現場，將借用的物品歸還，並清潔整理現場。我們非常開心能夠一起為地球做出貢獻，這場活動不僅有意義，還充滿了樂趣，感謝每一位參與者的熱情支持！期待明年地球日再度相見！

After the event, all members voluntarily stayed behind to help the mall staff clean up the venue, return borrowed items, and tidy up the area. We were very happy to contribute to the Earth together. This event was not only meaningful but also full of fun. We are grateful for the enthusiastic support of every participant! We look forward to seeing you again on Earth Day next year!
